Tracers sells into collections, legal support and process serving — the same buyers we serve. If you are weighing the two, the differences are in the commercial terms and in how each platform treats permissible purpose, not in the underlying files.

Skip tracing data comes from a short list of wholesalers, and both platforms draw on that pool. We are not claiming a proprietary file that finds debtors nobody else can find. Test it: run a sample of your own portfolio through both and compare hit rates on subjects you already know the answer to.

You can price it before you speak to anyone
Our rate card is published: $5 per user seat per month, then per search at rates anyone can read. Work out what a month costs before you apply, rather than after a discovery call. Volume tiers apply automatically at the end of each period.
Five dollars a seat and no minimum
Collections volume is seasonal. A monthly minimum means paying in January for searches you ran in November. We do not have one — your fixed cost is $5 per active seat. The collectors actually working the accounts each get their own login and their own line in the audit trail.
Purpose recorded per search
Every search carries its own permissible-purpose code and matter reference. For a collections shop this is the difference between asserting that your searches were proper and being able to show it, account by account, on the day a regulator or a consumer attorney asks.
Blocked attempts are recorded too, and never billed. A log that only contains the searches that succeeded is not much of a log.
Bank and brokerage location is not offered
Deposit and securities account location is not available here at any price, and no product code returns it. If your recovery workflow depends on account location from the same vendor, we are not that vendor — engage a licensed investigative agency for it directly.

Tracers offers per-search pricing for lighter users and a flat monthly tier with unlimited searching for heavier ones. Which you are offered, and at what number, is decided on a call — the figures are not on their site, and reported quotes vary by industry and volume.

An unlimited tier is a real advantage — if you can fill it
For a high-volume shop running the same searches all day, flat-rate unlimited beats per-search pricing and beats us. We do not offer it. What we offer instead is a number you can see before you commit, and no penalty in the month you barely searched at all.
Reasons to stay where you are.
If you already have a negotiated volume agreement in place and your per-search economics are good, published rates may not beat what you have. Compare the actual numbers rather than the list price.
Integrations matter too. If your collections software already talks to your current provider, that plumbing has value. Everything here is available over REST, but rebuilding an integration is real work, and you should count it.
